Standardization Of Theological Studies: The vision of the founders was to bring the quality of theological education in India on par with theological education in countries where seminaries have existed for centuries.

With the Government of India approval, the vision of ICAATS has broadened to the standardization of theological education in India and abroad. ICAATS would thus like to play a role inter alia  in the following

• Development of Bible/Theology Curriculum suitable for India. The core subjects are the same worldwide, but effective Christian ministry in the 2000s requires training in additional subjects of immediate relevance in India and other developing countries.
• Development of Curriculum specific for each country, while the core curriculum remains the same.
• Development of strategies and approaches to teach the curriculum and train students effectively.
• Implementing the latest insights of education-related research in Bible Schools and Seminaries
• Development of faculty training and refresher courses, general as well as specialized. 
• Development of criteria for determining credit-equivalence and credit-transfer.
• Identification of individuals and institutions worldwide that would partner with ICAATS to implement its vision worldwide.
• Developing a pool of specialists in theological and also in those non-theological subjects like psychology, sociology, anthropology, linguistics, etc that are increasingly  becoming an important component of theological studies.
