Accreditation Of Theological Studies:
The explosive growth of information in theology, the increasing demand
for graduates in Theology, and the the proliferation of institutions
dedicated to Theology and Bible have created a great demand for
quality-determination and standards for accepting training given by
Christian institutions worldwide. The need was felt more acutely in
the post-independence era in India because of the expansion in church
and indigenous missions activities.
The mandate for
ICAATS includes the following
- Development of
curricula for the full range of biblical and theological studies
- Evaluation and
accreditation of the full range of biblical and theological studies
- Legal counsel
and support for Christian educational institutions
